It’s funny how only a couple of years ago we were still hailing the shoulder pads as the biggest fashion disaster of the 80’s (and considering some of the crap that went on in the 80’s, that’s saying a lot). Fashion really is unpredictable.
Fashion trend generally repeates itself every 20 years.
Her body is soft and curvy. She means FAT. Tyra is fat. Plain as day. Come on! Shoulder pads? WTF. Tyra is so funny. She has a big booty crack on her booby line!
Black women have to try so hard to find clothes that fit them because they put on weight so quickly, I think Tyra is doing a good job!

Oh God, I feel like I should hate her because of how obnoxious she is, but I can’t stop the loving. She’s hilarious.
However, she was wrong about shoulder pads suiting everyone. As a trend I don’t mind them – brings a little diversity into the mix – but they would be MURDER on short girls. Far too overpowering.

I wasn’t a big fan of shoulder pads either. But I am now that I have seen this cool raincoat at cinniaedua’s website. It is a power shoulder version of matrix coat. Quite fab!
